Diary of Shooting.
- We talked and looks at location of where we were going to shoot.
- Did a make-up trial on Kelly.
What went well was that, we was able to find a suitable location for our music video and the make up Saskia did work really well because she it look realistic and it should out well on the camera.
What could be improve was that, because the kitchen was too small and had a lot of hazard elements there, it is dangerous to film in there so we skip that out and added another location in.
Thursday 25th October 2012
- Leanne, Saskia and I met at Weld college.
- Entered into the green room and set up all the equipment ready to shoot. Saskia does Leanne’s make-up and I video the tutorial. (this have taken 2 hours)
- Rest of the day until 5pm, Leanne practice her lip-synching and we shot a range video of her lip-synching, including close up and etc.
What went well was that we have manage to shoot a range of good shoot and her lip-synch was great and matches the song so no correction needed and it was very clear on the camera. Also her make-up look good and how we wanted to look like.
What we could improve on was to improve the lighting.
Sunday 4th November 2012
- The group met up at Harrow at 11am.
- We shot the establishing of the characters and location.
- We attempt to shoot the attack scene.
What went well was that we shot all that was needed and a lot of footage so we have a variety of shot to choose from. All members participated and came. Because of the weather and the morning sun we manage to get a good establishing location with clear views.
What went wrong was that it started to rain very heavily and shooting the attack scene was not practical.
Wednesday 14th November 2012
- Took photograph of Kelly for our missing poster
- Shot of where I was running into my house and before and after the attack scene.
- Preston Pub scene establishing Saskia and Kelly relationship.
- Me and Saskia’s scene in Harrow arguing etc.
What went well this time was that it was well organise and everyone in our group was there. Also we got a lot done in one day and everyone cooperated.
Friday 16th November 2012
- Met up at 12pm
- Went to Kelly’s house and shoot her part of the scene
What went well was that we had a range of shoot done and we had an appropriate costumes and props for this occasion.
What went wrong was that a lot of shot have a mixture of good and bad elements in it so a lot editing need to be done.
Wednesday 21st November 2012
- Shot in drama studio, Kelly reaction to getting attack and my reaction of seeing this attack. (this was our development of not choosing the alley way to where originally the attack scene was going to take place).
What went was that we did quite of shot to show emotions and we manage to create a better effects.
One of our group member left the course with lots of work taken with her so we had to trace it down and finish part that she had started. Could of focus at times.
Friday 25th January 2013
- Took photograph of our digipak
- Perform an interview and took photos
- Shot of early backstage footage of her singing her new track “My life” and taken photograph
- Look over photos and finalise which is going to be used.
- Editing using Photoshop our main digipak
What went well was that we manage to get through everything that have to be done in that short amount of time. The photos came out brilliant and we was able to use Photoshop quite quickly.
What could be improved is that all our members could of been there and we should been more focus at times.
